Crawling!!!

Well Annabell finally crawled right in front of Brad and I yesterday. She was after Roxy's toy of all things! Ha, it was so cute and it took us a while but we finally found the Video camera and recorded some, she was a bit fussy by then though and getting tired. She also is saying the P-P-P sound a lot. I'm trying to get her to make the p sound into words, like please and Papa. We are working on it. She also is almost completely weened and on the bottle. 8 months of breast feeding, according to the doctor, is plenty for all the protection she needs. She said she has everything she needs for her immune system, allergy protection, and higher IQ, etc. So at this point she really needs the fat for growing and I'm just not giving enough from my body, so she is on the bottle now and doing great with it. Even sleeping better. Plus I actually have some freedom too, since Brad is more than happy to feed her a bottle when she needs one. It's been nice. Well here are her videos...love y'all!

Finger foods and pictures

While we were in Wisconsin visiting Brad's sister we had the girls (Annabell and Maddie) take
some pictures together and also had Annabell's 7 month pictures done since time flew by and we never had her 6 months pictures done....here are a few of them. Also Annabell (yesterday) figured out how to put smaller portions of food in her mouth. I put a chunk of tofu on her high chair and went to go put the rest of it up, when I turned around she had picked it up and started eating it all down, she loves tofu by the way! I was so excited for her. We also have noticed that she will sing with us or the radio if one of us are singing or talking, it's the cutest! Oh and the weird beard man is the one and only Bradford James, he was cuting off his beard and we couldn't stop laughing at the new look so I snapped a photo, don't worry he took the rest off too! ha.

Love y'all!

Big Girl

Well today was a fairly normal day, we got up, Annabell played until she was ready for her first nap, she slept 2 hours and then woke up and ate. We then went to see her daddy at his office and she stayed with him for an hour while I went out to lunch with Christy. Then we came home and she took another 2 hour nap! I think she is going through some major growing with the amount of food she has been eating and how much she is sleeping. She was just playing in the living room and was lying on her belly and then got on all four and then went from all four to her bottom! I thought that was wonderful! I hadn't seen her figure that out yet...although I did see her on her bottom 2 days ago when I walked in her bed room to get her up from her nap. So I assume she's figured it out before I actually saw it, but it was a site to see! And her daddy and I saw it together which is always nice. The pictures of her in the lady bug outfit are her celebrating with us after she went from belly to bottom today! What a BIG GIRL! She also has started some new foods...prunes, green beans, and asparagus...she loves them all!
Love y'all!~

Happy Valentines Day!

Well today we celebrated her first Valentines day! She was so excited to watch me open the cards Brad bought me! So once Grandma came around with her round of gifts and a card just for Annabell she was so excited! She absolutely loved having her very own card! She played pretty hard today because we had a little boy over ( I was babysitting), who is older but still entertaining for Annabell. Well her eating had gone off course for a day, she was refusing food, but last night she picked it right back up with a large appetite. She ate so much food! She is having problems sleeping in her crib, so we had been letting her sleep in her swing, since we were in Wisconsin, but I'm going to have to break the habit tonight, which is never fun! It will probably be a long night of her will vs. mine, but hopefully I'll come out on top. ha. Well any who, here are some pictures of Annabell playing with some of her v-day gifts and wearing her new bib!

10 Things Tag.

I was tagged by Courtney to tell 10 things about how Annabell is growing up...

1. Her first word was Dada! She said it while we were on vacation in Wisconsin!
2. She gives big open mouth kisses to me and daddy, but she's picky about who else she'll give them too
3. She is close to crawling at 7 months and now can pull herself to standing from her bottom. She has also learned that she can play around in the tub which makes mommy crazy scared that she'll slip and hurt herself but she does pretty well!
4. She likes to laugh as she toots! She'll toot and then look to see if anyone else heard her, and then laugh! haha
5. She LOVES her daddy's voice...no matter what she is doing she stops when she hears him and starts to look around for him.
6. She loves to sleep with her hands behind her head like I do too, I came into her room and she was sleeping in the position that she is in in the above picture.
7. Annabell loves the sign language for All DONE! She prefers it over all others! ha
8. She has learned how to bite when I'm feeding her....but she laughs when I tell her no, which is really so cute, but I try to be tough with it and not smile, but can't help it.
9. I have kept this blogger going to tell all about Annabell's milestones etc...it's a great way for everyone to keep up with her!
10. She makes us feel so wonderful that I thank GOD daily for such a blessing in our lives! She is so special to us!
I now tag Michelle with her "top 10 reasons why it's great to be a stay-at-home mom"....(or a work from home mom)

Warm once again

(picture of Annabell touring the Miller Brewing Co. don't worry we were only getting water!)

Well we are back in Florida. The cold in Wisconsin helped me appreciate the wonderful winter down here. It was in the 70's and breezy when I got home and has been ever since. Well Annabell is slowly but surely getting back into her own routine. Her nose is starting to dry up from the congestion she had. She has still had to sleep in her swing the last few nights because of her congestion, but hopefully tonight will be different. She is taking her 2nd nap today and it's only 2:55pm! She seems to be going through a growth spurt. Well we introduced her first formula feeding to her last night just before bed. I wasn't thrilled about doing it but I can't seem to keep up with her physically. So I have to do what's best for her, she's still drinking breast milk all day and night, just one bottle in the evening to ensure she is getting enough fluids. I was pretty upset about it, but have come to terms with it. Plus she is 7 1/2 months old and still receiving plenty of mommy milk. Any who, we finally got out and about today. Yesterday we were so busy with Church and unpacking and re-adjusting from vacation that I didn't get a chance to go to the store. But today we did and I stocked up on some new food while we were out and about. She was laughing and taking deep breaths of the cold air. Well we rs that Annabell tried while in Wisconsin, ie..Tofu and bought some for her to start to trying soon...carrots, beans, etc. I couldn't get half of it organic from Publix so I am reluctantly going to have to go to Ada's health food organic store which is extremely over priced to buy some of the other foods! ugh. Anyways, We did a ton of neat stuff while we were in Wisconsin, we got to tour Miller Brewing Company which was awesome! Half the tour was walking outside and it was very cold, but Annabell absolutely loved the coldecently received a package from our host daughter Ryoko. It was a great package with lots of toys for Annabell and lots of candy for me! I love Japanese CANDY! yum! (here is a picture of Annabell playing with some of her new Japanese toys!) Well her are some pictures of everything I just told you about, plus Annabell's first experience with Prunes! ha. Love y'all!

From the pool to 12" of snow!

Well hello all! Sorry it has been a while since I have blogged, we have had a few busy weeks! Last week we were spending time with one of Annabell's great grandmothers. She actually got to spend time with 2 great grandma's one night! Great grandma Nester came down from Indianapolis and left the snow to see the hot sun! We had a great time! Annabell and Grandma aka grams had a lot of bonding time. They both went to the ocean for the first time together. Well it wasn't grams first but it was the first time in a while. Well now we are in COLD. We are up in Wisconsin visiting Michelle and Matt and just so happens that the worst snow storm of the season started today. It might be a problem to most but Brad, Annabell and I have loved it! Well we went to the Museum this week and saw the Body World exhibit. It was truly amazing. God is an Amazing creator! Well Brad and I went sledding today, we couldn't take Annabell out in it because it was snowing so hard and fast. We had a great time and Annabell stayed in playing with her cousin Maddie and aunt Michelle. Maddie and Annabell have had a wonderful time playing together. At first Maddie was so excited to see Annabell that she would climb all over her and Annabell would just fall over and cry. But after about 2 days she has started to hold her own and hang on Maddie too! She has started to rock back and forth on her hands and knees...she is so close to crawling. She has also been pulling herself up on anything she possibly can, coffee tables, the tub, and more. The biggest thing is she said DADA!!!!!!!! Brad was getting her dressed and she looked right up at him and said DADA!!! I heard her from the bathroom and ran into the bedroom! Brad was so excited to be there the first time she said it. She then looked at him again and said DADA! By that time all of us filled the room hoping to hear her say it again, but she was distracted by us all being there. It was very exciting since I have tried especially hard to get her to say it lately. It's amazing to see her learn....she stares at me or someone else doing something and then bam, she does it one random day. She seems to be at a point in her life that she is demonstrating all that she's been learning. It's amazing to see! Well here are some pictures the girls playing! Love y'all!
