Playing

Well today has been a pretty nice day. It is gorgeous here! The weather is perfect. A cold front has come down and I'm really enjoying it and so is Annabell. We took Roxy out side to use the bathroom this morning and she was loving the cool breeze, probably in the upper 60's or lower 70's. We then went shopping for Christmas with her aunt Adrienne. We found some great sales at Kohls. Annabell enjoyed it until she got hungry and then started crying at the store so I ended up feeding her in the car before we even went home, such is motherhood. But when we got home we both took a nap, about an hour for Annabell and a power 30 minute nap for me. MUCH needed since she has been sick. Her congestion looked like it was almost gone, but it just seems to be sticking around and waking the poor baby in the middle of the night... She starts crying so hard because she wants to sleep but gets woken up by not being able to breath well. Which has taken it's toll on me, but with the little nap today I feel ten times better. We then woke up, ate and then went to the park. It is a great park they are building across the street. I'm already hoping to have Annabell's 1st birthday there. They have opened it while still finishing some of the park. So it's not completely done but almost. So we walked around. Annabell's favorite time was watching the wind blow in the palm trees. She seemed mesmerized by them. She then played in her exersaucer for a while, and she loved it. We don't have to put a towel around her anymore because she can control her balance pretty well. Here are some pictures of her playing. Well I gotta go, she's waking from her second nap... love.

Halloween

Happy Halloween! Annabell enjoyed her first Halloween! She was a pumpkin, thanks to Kelly giving us Emma's old Halloween Costume. She was so precious. We had a pretty good day, besides the fact that she was very congested. We made a pumpkin pie from scratch and she loved feeling the pumpkin guts in her hand. It took forever to get her hands clean after that! Well around 5pm we headed over to Rachel and Todd's house for a small get together. It was pretty nice, we ate pizza and apples with carmel and for dessert we had the pumpkin pie. Yum. We got to see a few trick or treaters...and Brad and Todd Babb carved pumpkins for the babies...
Annabell's is the white one. Brad did a great Job for her! Annabell was relaxing with Mason, Todd and Stefanie's son, and decided to suck on his hand...they were so cute, we couldn't help but laugh. We took some pictures with Lilia, Annabell and Mason in their costumes. Lilia is 9 months, Annabell 4 and Mason 1. They were so precious so I included some pictures.
Well Annabell had her 4 month check up today. She is 25.75 inches long (95th percentile) and 13 lbs (50th percentile) and 50th percentile for her head. He said she was doing great besides her congestion. He said I could introduce solids to her at anytime (starting in the evening) but if I don't want to that it's fine. We decided to wait until 6 months unless something changes. She is very interested in food though. She thinks it is so neat when I eat, she just stares at me using the fork. She also had her shots today....I hate her getting those. She was being so cute and then BAM the nurse stuck her with 4 needles in about 10 seconds. She was crying so hard but stopped as soon as I picked her up. I fed her before we left to give her a little extra comfort. So far she hasn't been fussy or anything, she just wants to sleep, I don't blame her either. Well I Love you all!

Baby Dedication Day

Well today was Baby Dedication day at Cross Point Christian Church, where we attend. It was a wonderful day. Basically we went on stage and commited to raising Annabell to know and Love the Lord and we were prayed for by the congregation. I was so excited for this day. We bought Annabell a new dress, which was really hot for her but too cute, and invited alot of family and friends to come watch. By the time we were going on stage Annabell was getting pretty sleepy so Brad rocked her to sleep during the dedication while on stage. She did really well. After that her Grandma aka Peggy got to hold her and take care of her while in the nursery. Yes, yes, I have finally put her in the nursery. It was her 2nd weekend in there and she did great. She was really tire so she slept most of the time. Well Annabell will be 4 months tomorrow! I can't believe how fast she is growing! She is soooo close to rolling over, she arches her back so far when on the floor, tonight Brad and I both held our breath for a second thinking we were both about to see her roll over for the first time; but she just came close to doing so and then got bored. Well Halloween is wednesday and we are going to a friends for dinner and so the babys can have a play date, so I'm sure I'll have some more photos up soon. Love you all!

Pumpkin Patch

Well last week a group of us decided to take our kids to the pumpkin patch (in florida it's really just a parking lot with hay swirled around and pumpkins on the ground...ha). We dressed them up in halloween colors and took them out. It was alot of fun, it was kind of cloudy and sprinkling but the babies still enjoyed the pretty colors, and I believe the moms had even more fun! I didn't want to go out and buy a costume for Annabell this year so I just put her in some Pumpkin colors and used a pumpkin hat we bought for a dollar at Target. But since the colors were so neutral I thought people might think she's a boy. So jokingly I tied a huge bow on her head. Rachel thought it was so funny and we both thought it was adorable so I left it. She was so good about having it in her hair. Well Annabell realy enjoyed it, were there about an hour and then we pulled out my bumbo seat and had the children take turns sitting in it for pictures. She was the last one to sit down for her picture and she was so tired that she started crying for about 2 seconds before she conked out...she was soooo sleepy. This is Annabell and her best friend Lillia sleeping in the car when we got home. Well I hope ya'll like the photo's. I will update more often! Love ya'll!

Cousins

-Brad and his sister taking a picture together just after seeing one another for the first time since she arrived in Florida.

Well today was alot of fun for Annabell! We went to Mima and Papa's house and she met her Aunt Michelle, Uncle Matt, and Cousin Madelyn! It was so cute to see them together! Maddie seems alot older but they are only a week apart, but she has just grown like a weed! She is TOO cute! It was so cute to see them together finally. They were both such blessings to Michelle and I; and to know that they were created by God only a week apart is really special! Here are some pictures of the girls together. They both ended up crashing from playing so hard. They took a nap together in Grandma' and Big Pops room. Well tomorrow they are going to see one of their great grandmas, so I'll keep you updated! Love ya'll!

Day at the Park...

Well today we got up and hung out for a little bit before Tabi and her boys, Mason and Camden came over to play and go on a walk with us. We then had lunch and went to the park. It was a really hot day but in the shade it wasn't too bad with the breeze. Annabell has actually enjoyed being outside alot lately. She is getting so big so fast! We also have had a break-through with her belly time! PRAISE GOD! It has been so hard for me but she has done wonderful the last two days! Yesterday I decided to not give up on trying to put her on her belly, thanks to my sister in law, and finally she took to it yesterday. She held her head up really well until she became sleepy and then she just took a nap on her belly; but since then she has done wonderfully with belly time. Well tomorrow we are going to our first birthday party, Annabell's friend Belicia is turning one! I'll send some photos', we might take a chance in the pool! We'll see though. Love ya'll!

October Days

Well Annabell and I were pooped out from Brad aka Daddy's birthday. So we took a late morning nap today and her Dad snapped a photo of us snoozing. She was sweating a ton and her hair all curled up on the sides of her head. She looks like she's covering her face as if hiding from the paparatzi (spelling?). Anyways, for Brads b-day we all hung out at home per his request. Annabell and I did do a little shopping for him and her yesterday while he was mowing a lawn. When we went to Kohls I decided to carry her instead of taking in her car seat because she had been in it for a while. Carrying her actually saved us money because I could only do it for so long until I needed to go back to the car. ha. Well one of the things she got was a Bumbo seat. She loves it, she really enjoys sitting up like a big girl, she's not so big on tummy time but loves the chair!

Well we got her dad some work boots, Fantastic 4 movie, a T-shirt, socks, card, and love for his b-day. We got up and made him breakfast, and I went and got him Sushi for dinner per his request. We also went on a walk as a family, which is the first time in a while because Brad works so hard for us. And before then we played catch! It was fun except Brad throws soooo hard that it bruised my hand! ha. So everything is going great. Well I'll try to update more later...take care
